Vice President - Impact Assessments

Job Summary
As Vice President, Assessments & Exercises in Cybersecurity Technology & Controls, lead risk-based assessments and simulations to advance the firm’s cybersecurity and resiliency posture. Design and deploy risk-driven tests, evaluate preventative controls and incident response processes, and produce evaluation reports with detailed findings, risk assessments, and remediation recommendations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support SOX/SOC reporting, governance, and continuous improvement; leverage AI and monitoring tools to identify and mitigate risks, and communicate impact assessment findings and status updates to senior leadership and business process owners.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in technology risk management or information security
- hands-on experience with controls testing, observation assessment, and remediation
- ability to communicate, collaborate, and influence stakeholders across functions
- familiarity with risk management frameworks and regulatory requirements (SOX, SOC 1, SOC 2, COSO, NIST, COBIT, SEC guidance for internal controls over financial reporting)
- experience communicating impact assessment findings to senior leadership and stakeholders
- awareness of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and modern programming concepts (preferred)
