Job Summary
Develop and execute an enterprise-wide people strategy aligned with the company's growth objectives, financial priorities, and long-term business strategy. Translate business priorities into practical HR initiatives supporting growth, productivity, and operational excellence across multiple business units and shared services. Oversee scalable HR operations, drive improvement in service delivery and technology enablement, and use data analytics to measure effectiveness and inform executive decision-making. Lead enterprise succession planning, executive talent reviews, and organizational change efforts related to restructuring and acquisitions. Partner with legal, finance, and business leaders to mitigate people-related risk and ensure full legal compliance of HR policies. This role serves as a strategic advisor to the CEO and executive team on workforce strategy, culture, and talent risk within a diversified manufacturing company employing over 8,000 team members across six subsidiaries.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field
- 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience
- Experience leading enterprise HR functions in a complex, multi-business-unit organization
- Demonstrated experience operating at the executive level and advising CEOs and executive teams on human capital strategy and risk
- Experience leading HR business partners, shared services, and centers of excellence in a matrixed operating environment
- Strong knowledge of talent management, succession planning, total rewards, executive compensation, employee relations, compliance, organizational design, change management, and HR technology
- Relocation to Houston
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced degree such as an MBA, master's in HR, or related discipline
- Experience supporting business transformation, acquisitions, integrations, restructuring, or other large-scale organizational change initiatives
- Senior HR certification such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR
