Job Summary
Oversee all league hockey operations, including officiating training, evaluation, and rule administration, while serving as the primary liaison between the league office, teams, and officials. Identify and secure league-wide sponsorship opportunities by building relationships with corporate partners, creating integrated marketing assets, and negotiating partnership renewals. Lead long-term strategic planning with the Commissioner, analyze industry trends to strengthen the league's commercial position, and develop new revenue streams through events, digital programming, and licensing. Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with extensive travel requirements throughout the season.
Required Qualifications
- Five or more years of leadership experience in professional sports, hockey operations, business development, or related fields
- Strong knowledge of professional hockey operations, rules, and officiating
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects while working in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout the season
