Vice President, Global Health

Job Summary
Provide strategic and technical leadership for Pact's global health portfolio, driving growth, innovation, and impact through vision setting and collaborative problem solving. Build visibility and relationships with key global donors, strategic partners, governments, and stakeholders while representing Pact at conferences, media, and through thought leadership. Lead strategy development by defining priorities, operationalizing annual and long-range plans, and reviewing the Global Health framework. Manage business development efforts including market analysis, bid prioritization, and resource allocation, while overseeing program delivery and knowledge management. Direct a dispersed global team of over 13 years' experience, fostering collaboration, mentorship, and high-performance culture. Commit to ethical standards and diverse, inclusive practices across all teams and projects.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree and 13+ years relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience, including 9 years of management experience
- Reputable leader with an advanced clinical degree (MD) in family medicine, primary care, pediatrics or a relevant global health discipline with significant leadership experience, and results in international health and other contexts
- A master's degree or higher in public health, medicine, or a related discipline plus at least 15 years' professional experience in international development
- 15-20+ years of development program implementation in low resource settings with a variety of multi-lateral and bilateral donors
- Significant experience working in global health within the context of international development
- Extensive health sector knowledge and deep networks with donors, other implementing organizations, and experts
- An excellent record of business development and delivering results in international development or professional consulting
- Experience supporting or implementing overseas international development projects at the field level
- Prior experience writing and/or leading winning proposals for international development clients
- Experience leading high-performing teams, including virtual teams, to work collaboratively
- Strength in leading strategy and innovation, combined with financial, operational, and business acumen to ensure successful implementation
- Ability to be a persuasive advocate for Pact's Global Health within Pact and to external audiences
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Interest, will, and availability to travel as needed to Pact's countries of operation

- Experience with integrated programming (across multiple sectors)
- In-depth knowledge of a markets and business approach to global development
- Demonstrated capability in strategic visioning, planning and agency representation
- Experience overseeing and coordinating with international field offices
- Experience with private sector health
- Ability to interact professionally in another relevant language
