Vice President, Fund/Client Accounting Manager

Job Summary
Conduct accounting services for assigned clients and complex funds, determining net asset values, calculating fund performance, allocating expenses, and preparing reports. Lead junior team members by providing guidance on complex accounting responsibilities and drive service improvement plans to target efficiencies and enhance processes. Interact regularly with clients to answer questions and resolve multifaceted issues regarding fund reports and accounting processes. Perform specialist review functions and evaluate GAAP and IFRS rules to determine the impact of new regulations on fund accounting practices. Provide guidance and review work related to cash and asset reconciliations for complex accounts or transactions. This role includes potential people management responsibilities and team lead duties within specific geographies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience
Desired Qualifications
- 7-10 years of total work experience preferred
- Big 4 accounting firm experience preferred
- Experience evaluating GAAP and/or IFRS rules to determine impact of new regulations on fund accounting practices
- Ability to provide guidance and review work related to cash and asset reconciliations for complex accounts or transactions
- May have people management responsibilities in some geographies and may be tasked with Team Lead responsibilities
