Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer

Job Summary
VP, Full-Stack Engineer in Pune leading end-to-end full-stack development and architecture, presenting technical designs, and contributing as a POD team member. Responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, and maintaining full-stack applications; applying an AI-first engineering mindset to improve code quality, testing, documentation, and delivery speed; promoting high standards of software quality, security, and maintainability; participating in deployments and change controls; mentoring junior engineers; and collaborating with engineers, product partners, and stakeholders in an agile environment. Required skills include Java, Spring Boot, TypeScript, Angular (or similar), MQ/Kafka, CI/CD, TDD, secure design, cross-functional collaboration, and familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience in full-stack software development (front-end and back-end)
- Proficiency with Java and Spring Boot
- Proficiency with TypeScript and Angular (or similar frameworks)
- Experience with messaging queues such as MQ and Kafka
- Knowledge of agile software development, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and secure software design
- Experience in financial services or securities processing is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional teams
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
- AI-first mindset and familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, Windsurf, Claude Code, etc)
- Mentor junior team members
- Ownership mentality and continuous learning
