Job Summary
Vice President, Full Stack Software Engineer – Liquidity Financing in Jersey City, NJ. Lead design, development, and support of scalable full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, SQL, Angular, and Python to enable Liquidity Financing capabilities. Translate requirements into technical designs, deliver secure and maintainable solutions across frontend and backend, drive engineering discipline across the SDLC, and promote AI-enabled tooling to improve delivery speed and code quality. Provide hands-on technical leadership, mentorship, and collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align solutions with enterprise standards and strategic objectives. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 5+ years of software engineering, and strong experience across enterprise-grade, high-availability environments. Preferred experience in liquidity/financing domains and APIs/microservices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- strong full stack development expertise in Java, Spring Boot, SQL, Angular, and Python
- Proven experience building and supporting enterprise applications across frontend, backend, and data layers in complex, high-availability environments
- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including object-oriented design, secure coding, code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, debugging, and application support
- Experience with or strong interest in AI-assisted development tools and applying them to improve engineering effectiveness and solution quality
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and influence technical outcomes
- Demonstrated experience mentoring engineers, providing technical leadership, and contributing to a high-performing engineering culture
