Job Summary
The Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer will lead the implementation of scalable and robust full-stack applications using Core Java, Advanced Java, and Angular while designing software applications with Test Driven Development and Spring Boot Microservices architecture. Responsibilities include maintaining software functionality, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver new features, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and executing the full software development lifecycle. The role requires proficiencies in Java, Spring Boot, front-end frameworks, database management, and familiarity with cloud environments and CI/CD processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5-9 years of experience in software development
- Proficiency in Java (Java 8+), Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices architecture
- Experience with frontend frameworks such as Angular, JQuery and Bootstrap
- Strong database experience with any relational database
- Familiarity with containerization and cloud environments (e.g Docker and Kubernetes)
- Understanding of CI/CD processes
- Ability to work with APIs for integration and communication across systems
- Experience with scripting using Linux preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the securities or financial services industry
- Experience building a client facing reporting application
- Experience with messaging - Kafka
