Job Summary
Lead SEC financial reporting and related governance as Vice President, Financial Reporting based in Los Angeles, CA. Responsibilities include managing the SEC reporting process (Form 10-Q/10-K and other filings), preparing quarterly earnings materials and Audit Committee/Board materials, ensuring SOX-compliant controls and documentation, and ensuring XBRL compliance. Coordinate with internal and external auditors, provide requests, conduct ad hoc technical research, and streamline reporting processes by documenting policies and procedures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including accounting, legal and compliance, investor relations, and management. Silently emphasizes: 12+ years of accounting experience with SEC reporting; BA in accounting; CPA and Big Four background preferred; strong US GAAP knowledge; Excel proficiency; Geneva/Workiva experience a plus.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of relevant accounting experience including SEC financial reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- CPA and big four experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC rules
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Geneva and Workiva is a plus
