Job Summary
Manage day-to-day requests from Finance stakeholders, Audit/Compliance, and third-party vendors regarding financial application maintenance, UAT, and configuration updates. Design and execute training for end users on best practices, troubleshoot interfaces and API exceptions, and collaborate with IT to gather requirements for system enhancements and production deployments. Lead process re-engineering initiatives to drive automation and optimization across SOX-controlled financial systems. This role supports the Financial Applications team within Ares' Mumbai office, focusing on delivering high-quality deliverables and improving operational efficiency through technology.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, information systems, or related fields
- 15+ years relevant experience with ERP/EPM technologies or familiarity with financial concepts and basic exposure to ERP or financial systems

- Knowledge in data analytics/modelling using tools like Azure DataLake, Power BI, Hyperion HFM/Essbase, BIP

- Familiarity/experience with API for interfacing between applications
- Strong skills in Collaboration Tools: MS Teams, Confluence, JIRA, SERA
- Strong skills in MS Office Suite: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Project
