Vice President Finance

Vice President Finance at Gold Leaf partners with the CEO and executive team to lead the finance and accounting function, owning long-term capital structure, finance strategy, and capital markets relationships. The role focuses on building a scalable modern finance function powered by technology (NetSuite and AI tools), leading FP&A, accounting, close, budgeting, and forecasting, and partnering with farm operations to drive performance. Responsibilities include working with Asset Managers and Farm Managers to facilitate decision-making, supporting the Board and investors with LP reporting and fund accounting, and supervising a Controller. The role encompasses M&A support, lender relations, and capital allocation, with frequent collaboration across operations, acquisitions, and asset management. Requires ability to be in California (Bay Area or Central Valley preferred) and travel regularly to farm locations (Sacramento, Modesto, Fresno, Bakersfield, and Kingman, AZ). Must possess a Bachelor's degree and 7–10+ years of finance leadership experience, with a track record as a strategic partner to a CEO and leadership team, and a demonstrated ability to design and build a growing finance function.
