Job Summary
The Vice President, ESG Regulatory Programs at BNY will lead the end-to-end production of climate and ESG regulatory disclosures, ensuring compliance with BNY policies. Responsibilities include driving enterprise-wide regulatory implementations, developing disclosure inventories, partnering with cross-functional teams on regulatory requirements, and managing governance routines. The role requires strong expertise in ESG standards, project management, and excellent communication skills to produce management-ready documentation for regulatory audits.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in financial services with exposure to climate policy and disclosures, sustainability, compliance, risk/control functions, or related field
Desired Qualifications
- Hands-on experience driving regulatory implementations and/or reporting
- Strong understanding of ESG reporting standards and disclosure requirements
- Proven success in cross-functional, matrixed project management
- Strong communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Technical/quantitative proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Workiva is a plus
