Vice President, Equity Investments

The VP, Equity Investments will own and drive all multifamily acquisitions in their region/territory including sourcing, underwriting, due diligence, legal negotiation and closing core, core plus, and value add multifamily property acquisitions, debt investments, and equity joint venture investments for development within their territory. Territories include Southeast/Midwest regions. Responsibilities include sourcing acquisitions, developing sourcing strategy and pipeline within the assigned territory, nurturing relationships with brokers and developers, mentoring junior acquisitions staff, coordinating due diligence, negotiating LOIs and term sheets, coordinating investment financing and closing, presenting investments to the Investment Committee, and supporting portfolio management post-acquisition. Requires strong network building, underwriting and negotiation skills, and a track record in commercial real estate acquisitions, with emphasis on multifamily assets and related debt/equity transactions.
