Job Summary
Provide operational oversight for the Early Education and Care Program, ensuring daily compliance with Head Start mandates and strategic positioning for the future. Lead the Executive Leadership team by developing budgets, forecasting enrollment, and implementing major plans consistent with Board-approved policies. Coordinate technical support for the Policy Council, facilitate training and orientation, and review plans, policies, and procedures to ensure meaningful participation. Manage facility safety, security, and maintenance while directing staff performance evaluations and monitoring overall program effectiveness. Represent Easter Seals of North Georgia externally and communicate timely information to parents, staff, and community organizations through established systems.
Required Qualifications
- related Bachelor's degree in one of the following areas: Business, social science, or education
- minimum of ten (10) years of executive management experience
- budgeting
- compliance oversight
- strategic planning
- risk management
- project management
- Senior level management experience with a Head Start environment
- ability to supervise staff at multiple locations
- knowledge of budget and fiscal management
- excellent communications skills
- ability to compose and deliver effective presentations
- ability to establish working relationships within the community
- knowledge of strategic planning
- knowledge of fundamentals of change management
- valid state of Georgia Driver's license
