Job Summary
Senior VP-level role leading growth and capture for DLA nationwide. Responsible for developing and executing a full and Open national security growth strategy, guiding full-lifecycle opportunity management from identification to capture, and driving growth through targeted capture and recompetes. Engage senior DLA decision-makers, act as a trusted advisor, and partner with industry primes, mid-tier, and small businesses to drive teaming and joint ventures. Leverage expertise in data analytics, AI/ML, cloud, and digital transformation to modernize mission-critical platforms. Lead cross-functional collaboration with capture, proposals, recruiting, and operations, and mentor junior BD professionals. Travel up to 20%.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years in business development & capture
- 3+ years at DLA or equivalent defense/aerospace experience
- Proven track record of winning multi-million-dollar federal contracts within DLA
- Experience with full-lifecycle capture, proposal development, and strategic positioning
- Ability to translate client needs into service offerings (AI-driven analytics to mission-critical infrastructure)
- Strong leadership, communication, and consultative skills
- Willingness to travel up to 20%
