Job Summary
Develop new equipment finance business directly with middle-market, large corporate, and private equity-sponsored clients by identifying capital expenditures and establishing relationships with senior financial decision-makers. Structure customized financing solutions, prepare proposals, and work with credit and operations teams to move transactions from prospecting through funding. Maintain ownership of client relationships, expand existing accounts, and manage active pipeline reporting while representing the company at industry events. This role targets manufacturing, technology, data centers, healthcare, and construction sectors within a growing independent equipment finance company offering competitive performance-based compensation.
Required Qualifications
- Established experience originating equipment finance transactions directly with commercial end users
- Demonstrated ability to independently generate new business and maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities
- Existing relationships with middle-market companies, larger corporate borrowers, private equity sponsors, or senior financial decision-makers
- Proven record of producing meaningful annual equipment finance volume
- Strong understanding of equipment loans, finance leases, tax leases, and other commercial financing structures
- Ability to evaluate financial statements and understand cash flow, leverage, liquidity, collateral, and the business purpose behind a transaction
- Experience structuring and presenting transactions to credit and senior management
- Ability to sell consultatively and communicate value beyond pricing alone
- Strong executive presence, communication skills, judgment, and follow-through
- Willingness to travel as necessary for client development and relationship management
