Job Summary
Vice President, Digital Experience & Optimization responsible for leading the end-to-end digital storefront, owning site experience, UX/UI, merchandising, CRO, and digital operations to deliver a seamless, high-performing customer journey that drives conversion and loyalty. Drives the vision for mobile-first design, on-site merchandising, personalization, and data-driven optimization through experimentation (A/B testing and behavioral analytics) with a leadership mandate across UX/UI, Site Ops, Merchandising, and Personalization. Reports to the Chief Ecommerce Officer and collaborates with Brand, Creative, Marketing, Technology, and Product to translate ecommerce strategy into actionable plans, optimize site performance (conversion, AOV, engagement), and lead major site redesigns, replatforming, or personalization initiatives. Requires 12+ years of ecommerce leadership, strong analytical capability, and experience operating at scale in apparel/consumer retail or similar categories. Salary range reflected is $270,000–$290,000 per year for full-time role in the United States (San Leandro, CA) with a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years ecommerce leadership experience
- experience operating at scale within an ecommerce business
- proven ability to improve conversion, engagement, and customer experience through data-driven decision making
- strong analytical capability; translate complex data into clear actions and business impact
- deep expertise in UX/UI, customer journey optimization, and mobile-first ecommerce design
- experience leading cross-functional initiatives across Marketing, Technology, and Product
- experience in an omni-channel environment (DTC + retail/wholesale) preferred
