Job Summary
The VP, Digital Assets Accounting & Shareholder Reporting will lead Fidelity’s integrated operating model for digital asset investment products, overseeing books and records maintenance, digital asset pricing, NAV production, financial reporting, and regulatory filings across ETPs and LPs. You will drive an modern, digital asset-native framework, incorporating on-chain data and blockchain-based custody concepts, and partner with Product, Technology, Operations, Risk, and Compliance to ensure scalability, control effectiveness, and timely reporting. Responsibilities include end-to-end process ownership of NAV, financial statements, and regulatory filings; advancing automation and data-driven solutions to reduce manual work and accelerate time-to-market for new digital asset products; guiding organizational design and operating-model transformation; and ensuring SOX controls and risk management are embedded across the function. The role requires senior leadership to build and scale operational platforms, manage relationships with custodians and service providers, and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders across the firm.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or related field
- 15+ years of asset management operations experience
- deep expertise across accounting operations and fund administration including NAV production, financial reporting, and regulatory filings
- experience integrating blockchain-derived data into accounting and reporting processes
- US GAAP and investment company reporting knowledge
- SOX-compliance experience
- demonstrated leadership in building and scaling operational teams
- ability to lead automation, process optimization and data strategy initiatives
- experience managing relationships with third-party providers (custodians, fund administrators, auditors, vendors)
- strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- CPA or advanced degree preferred
