Job Summary
Develop and execute multi-year strategic fund development plans to secure seed and operating funding for statewide impact initiatives. Cultivate and solicit high-net-worth donors and institutional partners, including foundations and corporations, to drive multi-million-dollar capital campaigns. Lead the fundraising team, mentor staff, and oversee donor tracking, reporting, and data systems while crafting compelling messaging for donor audiences. Travel up to 25% and work some evenings and weekends to support high-visibility community and industry events. Partner closely with senior leaders to expand funding and visibility for Think Education's mission.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field, or proven work experience in lieu of a degree
- 15+ years of progressive non-profit fundraising experience
- 10+ years focused on fundraising and external relations
- Experience leading capital campaigns
- Excellent communication
- The ability to build and maintain relationships with donors and other stakeholders
- Proficiency with all Microsoft Office software products (including Teams)
- Strong Excel skills
- Comfortable working with data, budgets, and reports
- Highly proficient with PowerPoint design
- Must pass Live Scan (criminal background check via fingerprinting)
- Provide a clear TB test
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license and current auto insurance on file with HR (for employees who operate a personal or company vehicle for work purposes)
