Job Summary
Lead data science and ML engineering strategy for Enterprise Solutions within a regulated financial-services environment. Own the design, development, and operation of high-rigor analytical and machine-learning systems, including anomaly detection, variance analysis, drift detection, and forecasting. Define the AI/ML roadmap, ensure production-grade models, and manage end-to-end lifecycle from problem definition through deployment, monitoring, and ongoing performance management. Collaborate with engineering, data platform, and product teams to deliver robust, explainable models that withstand regulatory scrutiny. Expect to influence through hands-on technical contribution, with limited people management responsibility and a strong focus on data quality, model reliability, and stakeholder communication.
Required Qualifications
- 20+ years in analytics, data science, or ML systems in production (financial services or regulated domain preferred)
- strong experience delivering applied data science and machine learning in production
- hands-on ownership of full model lifecycle
- experience with large, complex datasets
- ability to explain modelling choices and limitations to stakeholders
- leadership/memo-style mentorship responsibilities (limited)
- ability to operate in a regulated environment with emphasis on reliability and explainability
