Job Summary
Vice President, Data Privacy: Support the Chief Privacy Officer and Global Privacy Office Directors to operationalize the Bank’s privacy strategy and management framework. Provide privacy SME support to the business to help them fulfil regulatory and organizational requirements to protect personal information and uphold privacy rights of clients and employees, while enabling innovation. Design, develop, enhance and operationalize enterprise-level privacy policies/procedures, processes and controls with a focus on privacy impact assessments and regulatory change implementation. Support deployment of privacy management technology and tools (automation) to enhance data privacy controls. Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, business, and technology stakeholders to implement regulatory compliance initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors or advanced degree (JD or MBA) or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years experience in a privacy role
- Understanding of key privacy laws in EMEA and APAC (GDPR, PECR, PIPL, DPDPA)
- CIPP certification, e.g. CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT, and/or Global privacy program experience
