Job Summary
Lead a team focused on B2B relationships and optimizing net partnership revenue to drive new opportunities nationally and locally, hitting and surpassing annual revenue goals. Create long-term, customized corporate partnerships with leading regional, national, and international brands by leveraging analytics to demonstrate tangible ROI. Manage relationships with key partners as an executive point of contact, delivering best-in-class account management and ensuring 100% fulfillment of contractual obligations. Influence strategic goals, commission structures, and incentive programs while developing staff through mentoring and performance feedback. Contribute to event planning and execution of partner-sponsored events, conducting business during non-traditional hours including weekends, nights, and holidays. Coordinate with internal legal and finance teams to manage accounts payable and receivable, and work with Business Strategy & Analytics to develop compelling presentations.
Required Qualifications
- Proven track record of driving new and retaining existing revenue in the corporate partnerships space
- Thorough knowledge of the sports industry and market conditions
- Comfortable working with and presenting to senior executives
- Effective verbal, written and presentation skills
- Customer-focused, team player – ability to lead sales and activation staff
- Excellent business research and problem-solving skills
- Strong prospecting and leadership skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Ability to meet challenging sales objectives in a high profile, competitive marketplace
- Demonstrated ability to develop strategic activation programs
- Track record of providing exceptional customer service
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, sales or related field
- Minimum of 7 years of demonstrated sales leadership experience in corporate partnerships
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, inclusive of weekends, nights (event evenings & overnight operation shifts), and holidays
- Ability to monitor company communications and respond to time-sensitive matters with senior executives
- Travel may be required
