Job Summary
Achieve sales goals by aligning consultant needs and client opportunities with BlackRock's capabilities. Build deep relationships with influential global, national, and specialist investment consultants to drive new business. Drive field consultant and senior leadership coverage, progressing the research agenda and overseeing servicing for the assigned coverage universe. Partner with investment and client partner teams to maintain existing relationships and guide the career development of other team members. This role requires at least five years of experience working with consultants and institutional clients, including pension, endowments, and healthcare sectors. The Vice President reports to the US Consultant Coverage team in San Francisco, CA, working a hybrid schedule of four days in the office per week.
Required Qualifications
- Deep understanding of institutional investment marketplace
- 5+ years of experience working with consultants and/or institutional clients
- Experience in working with various institutional client types (Pension, Taft-Hartley, Endowments, Foundations, Healthcare, Wealth, etc.)
- BA/BS degree, preferably in related field
- Has, or is willing to obtain, the series 7 and 63 licenses
- High level of self-motivation, with strong integrity & ethics
- Employees are currently required to work at least 4 days in the office per week
