Vice President, Closed-end Fund Accounting (Private Credit)

Job Summary
Vice President will supervise Assistant Vice-Presidents and Senior Managers in the daily books and records for several closed-end funds and separate accounts within Global Private Debt Strategy; oversee monthly closing, pricing, reconciliations, and accrual of expenses; review quarterly/annual GAAP financial statements; prepare month-end closing packages and financial statements for funds onboarded in Hyderabad; coordinate cross-functional teams across private deal life cycle including funding, maintenance, and exit; manage asset transfers between Oaktree funds and SPVs; oversee cash management and resolve cash breaks; ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley controls; onboard funds in the Geneva/GWI platform; provide ad-hoc technical guidance on accounting pronouncements; review fund/client performance calculations and consolidated fund information; support project delivery and process improvements; requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA a plus) and 12+ years of accounting experience in financial services/investment management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 12+ years accounting experience in financial services/investment management
- strong knowledge of fund launches, complex structures, and hedged feeders
- reconciliation and account analysis
- experience with Geneva and/or Geneva World Investor; ARC; SS&C (notice portal) is a plus
- CPA a plus
