Vice President, Closed-end Fund Accounting (Private Credit)

Vice President overseeing closed-end fund accounting for private debt at Oaktree, including supervising AVPs/Senior Managers, managing monthly closings (pricing, data reconciliation, and accruals of expenses), reviewing US GAAP financial statements, onboarding new funds in Hyderabad and Geneva, coordinating cross-functional private deal lifecycle, managing cash transfers between funds and SPVs, cash management and resolution of cash breaks, ensuring Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and providing ad hoc technical accounting guidance; requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance (CPA a plus), strong reconciliation/account analysis, project leadership, and proficiency with Geneva/World Investor, ARC, and SS&C; 12+ years accounting experience in financial services preferred.
