Job Summary
Vice President - Business Solutions for Middle Office Onboarding leads a team delivering market-facing onboarding activities for fund launches, mandate changes, and client events. Oversees onboarding governance, risk actions, and performance reporting; partners with Investment, Risk, Compliance, Technology, Operations, and external suppliers to ensure robust, scalable operating models for asset management product launches and asset transitions. Responsible for mentoring and developing onboarding professionals, maintaining procedures, and driving improvements to client satisfaction. Requires deep knowledge of global fund structures (UCITS, AIFs, OEICs, SICAVs), experience managing complex onboarding programs, platform familiarity (e.g., BRS Aladdin), strong stakeholder management, regulatory awareness (FCA, AIFMD, EMIR, STFR), and willingness to travel internationally. The role supports flexible working arrangements and workplace accommodations.
Required Qualifications
- 10-12 years of experience with at least 8 years in a senior leadership role overseeing client onboarding, fund launches, and operational transitions
- leadership of cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams
- deep understanding of global fund structures (UCITS, AIFs, OEICs, SICAVs) and onboarding implications
- experience managing complex onboarding and asset transition projects
- ability to drive operational improvements and scalable solutions
- excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with internal clients, custodians, and third-party providers
- end-to-end understanding of asset classes (equities, fixed income, derivatives, FX, money markets)
- operational knowledge of platforms such as BRS Aladdin and familiarity with outsourced service models and automation
- experience applying project management methodologies to improve service delivery
- awareness of ESG principles in fund onboarding
- willingness to travel internationally
