Job Summary
VP in M&A in New York with hybrid work arrangement. Lead sell-side transactions for middle-market clients, collaborate with Managing Directors, and mentor Associates/Analysts. Responsibilities include proactive client outreach, developing and delivering transaction presentations, leading deal execution, and nurturing business development opportunities. Requires demonstrated M&A financing/transaction experience, strong finance and valuation skills, and the ability to develop client relationships. Role offers exposure to international clients, potential to advance to Partners, and a compensation package with base salary and bonus in New York City.
Required Qualifications
- 4-8 years of experience in M&A
- MBA acceptable for 4-5 years experience
- strong track record of executing financing and/or M&A transactions
- experience in financial services/Asset & Wealth Management M&A preferred
- strong academic record
- ability to develop into Partners
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- ability to lead client meetings and manage teams of Associates and Analysts
