Job Summary
Vice President of Business Development to lead growth in the healthcare sector. Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy; identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities across healthcare systems, physician groups, payers, and ancillary healthcare organizations; build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects and strategic partners; lead contract negotiations with C-suite stakeholders; collaborate cross-functionally with operations, marketing, and clinical leadership to ensure seamless client onboarding and retention; represent the company at industry conferences and events; provide market intelligence and competitive analysis; mentor and lead a remote business development team with clear KPIs; report directly to the CEO with regular pipeline and revenue updates; remote flexibility with occasional travel.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive business development or sales leadership experience, with at least 5 years in healthcare
- Demonstrated success in building and scaling revenue-generating partnerships within the healthcare industry
- Deep knowledge of the healthcare landscape including providers, payers, health systems, or healthcare technology
- Strong network of existing relationships across the South Florida market and/or national healthcare sector
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proven ability to lead and inspire a team in a remote environment
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
