Job Summary
Senior Vice President Banker in Mergers & Acquisitions responsible for raising capital and providing strategic advisory services for mergers and acquisitions in coordination with Institutional Banking. Acts as intermediary in trading for clients and leads phases of project/transaction execution, new business development, and growth. Works with clients on financing transactions, leads due diligence, drafts situation analyses, pitch materials, information memoranda, and investor/management presentations, and oversees analysts and associates. Requires in-depth knowledge of corporate banking, capital markets, and related products; demonstrates strong communication skills and client-management capabilities. MBA or Master's degree preferred; extensive experience in financial services and experience with Series 79 and 63.
Required Qualifications
- 6-10 years of experience in Financial Services, specifically Banking or related areas
- Degree in Finance or closely related areas of Business Administration
- MBA or Master's Degree in Business preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge of corporate banking products, regulations, lending and credit approval processes
- Series 79 and 63
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with large corporate clients, capital markets products, derivatives, cash management, trade, finance and securities products
