Job Summary
The Vice President, Bank Funding Senior Trader position entails owning daily funding trade execution, managing balance sheet and liquidity risks, monitoring capital markets, optimizing funding, executing foreign exchange and derivative trades, and providing liquidity risk counsel. Responsibilities extend to funding forecasting, risk management, and balance sheet governance. Candidates must possess at least 10 years of experience in relevant financial activities, a quantitative undergraduate degree, and advanced knowledge in financial markets with strong communication and team management skills.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree with quantitative focus, preferably finance, accounting or engineering
- Minimum relevant experience of at least 10 years in Money Market/FX activities (including Asset-Liability management and ALCO exposure)
- Focus on balance sheet, liquidity risk management, IRR analytics, funds transfer pricing, markets or finance
- Demonstrated ability to communicate at a management level in English
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced understanding of markets, financial statements, liquidity and risk
- Strong Excel skills
- Tech Tools: Tableau, Alteryx, Workiva abilities
- Ability to lead and manage a team
- Strong ability to communicate effectively across a broad range of constituents
- Execution experience in interest rate and foreign exchange products, both cash and derivatives
- Creative problem-solving skills
- A genuine interest in financial markets
