Vice President, Associate General Counsel

Vice President, Associate General Counsel at Arrowhead Credit Union. This role delivers broad general and credit-union-specific legal services, including contract review guidelines and template documents, regulatory compliance, liaison with brokers and carriers, supervision of claims, coordination with outside counsel, and advising internal departments (Marketing, Human Resources, Audit/Compliance, Branches, Lending, Loan Servicing, Collections, Philanthropy/Community Impact). Responsibilities also include advising on property-related matters (leases, upfits), developing and reviewing policies and procedures, delivering educational presentations to Boards and leadership, maintaining licenses and continuing education, and supporting overall corporate governance and risk management. The position emphasizes quick learning, assertiveness in development, and ongoing process improvement; compensation range is $180k-$240k with bonus eligibility, and benefits include comprehensive health, 401(k), PTO, and other company programs.
