Job Summary
Oversee all financial activities including monthly reporting, budget-to-actual analysis, and cash flow management. Lead the selection of external auditors and bank relationships while preparing annual budgets and year-end financial statements. Manage departmental labor and overhead rates, FAR compliance documentation, and Canadian tax filings. Direct staff selection, training, and evaluation to ensure system integrity and data accuracy. Advise management on long-range planning, insurance coverage, and regulatory actions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting
- 10+ years experience in a leadership role in accounting
- 4+ years experience in public accounting
- CPA certification
- working knowledge of GAAP
