Job Summary
Oversee all functional areas of ancillary departments, including Inpatient and Outpatient Laboratory, Radiology, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Pharmacy services. Lead planning, implementation, and evaluation of new programs and service lines while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Provide strategic direction for patient care delivery and manage financial performance objectives through annual budget preparation and monitoring. Identify opportunities for new ancillary approaches, prepare proposals with cost analysis, and collaborate with executive leadership on clinical program development. Develop and implement monitoring processes to align department performance with metrics-based management systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration or other related discipline from an accredited university
- Minimum ten (10) years of healthcare leadership experience with multi-department responsibilities
- Current licensure in Laboratory, Radiology or Pharmacy in the State of Texas
- Five (5) years progressive experience in senior management leadership
- Demonstrated collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization
- Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, time management, change management, performance improvement and project management skills
- Demonstrated skills in organization, verbal and written communications, customer service, critical thinking and managing multiple competing priorities and understanding team dynamics
- Demonstrated leadership approach to coach and develop leaders, focus on process/systems and regular interaction with staff to remove barriers that prevent achievement of organizational goals
