Job Summary
Vice President; Analyst - Tech Delivery at Bank of America is seeking an experienced IT delivery professional to estimate work across the delivery lifecycle, design and develop software and data warehousing solutions, and enable scalable architectures using Hadoop, Teradata, Spark, and related technologies. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 5+ years of progressively responsible IT experience with full stack engineering, Linux, and modern data/cloud tooling. Responsibilities include spike/proof-of-concept work, refining requirements, architectural design, production-grade software development, ETL/analytic workflows, and CI/CD deployment. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite (Charlotte, NC). The posting indicates a senior- level role with extensive collaboration across teams and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, MIS, Engineering or related field
- 5 years of progressively responsible experience in IT occupation
- 5 years of experience designing and developing solution architectures to scale backend systems using Python, Java, Spring Boot and REST specifications
- 5 years of experience utilizing full stack engineering, Linux, coding, and debugging
- 5 years of experience designing and developing production-ready software using web, cloud, and distributed technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, Microservices, and CI/CD cloud deployment
- 5 years of experience designing and developing new proofs of concept projects to enhance current software systems to handle increased traffic and larger datasets with technologies such as Elasticsearch, Redis, and Kafka
