Job Summary
Vice President role responsible for driving sourcing, prioritisation, and implementation of alternative datasets across PMG, aligning data opportunities with Alpha Priorities and investor strategies; acts as central contact for third-party data, improving transparency, access, and reuse; partners with investors, data teams, engineering, and vendors to ensure datasets are usable, compliant, and scalable; engages with vendors on partnerships and commercial assessments, coordinates data lifecycle from onboarding to production, and supports governance initiatives (including Aladdin Alpha); requires strong organizational, commercial, and stakeholder management skills, with experience across investment research workflows and cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years relevant experience in financial services, data, or consulting environments
- Experience in financial services, data strategy, consulting, or investment research
- Exposure to alternative data and/or investment research workflows
- Familiarity with data licensing, governance, and AI/ML usage considerations
- Experience working across cross-functional teams spanning investment, data, and technology
- Strong organisational skills and stakeholder management
- Excellent communication skills
- Interest in financial markets and drivers of performance
- Basic familiarity with data tools (SQL, Python) or data platforms (Nice to Have)
