Job Summary
Define and drive Mastercard’s AI and data strategy for Open Finance, partnering with business, product, and technology leadership to translate priorities into high-impact AI/data initiatives. Lead governance of data, privacy, and regulatory compliance across Open Finance products and platforms, guiding evaluation, prioritization, and implementation of data-enabled solutions to enhance risk management, customer outcomes, and product capabilities. Drive adoption of data and AI design practices, ensure alignment with regulatory expectations, and build strong relationships across Open Finance, Services, and enterprise stakeholders. Represent Mastercard externally on AI/data strategy and track success metrics for adoption and business impact. Foster innovation, accountability, and operating excellence across cross-functional teams with executive-level influence.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience defining and executing AI and data strategies in product-led, highly regulated environments (payments/fintech/Open Finance preferred)
- Deep understanding of Open Finance/Open Banking, data governance, data privacy, and regulatory compliance
- Experience partnering with data governance, privacy engineering, and compliance teams
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to influence C-level leaders
- Ability to translate business priorities into actionable AI and data initiatives
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in complex, matrixed environments
- Strong business and financial acumen; ability to prioritize investments and drive scalable solutions
- Experience working with multiple internal, partner, and third-party data sources
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, dynamic environments with high ambiguity and executive visibility
- Ability to define and implement governance models for AI and data across products and platforms
- Proven ability to build and maintain strategic relationships across Open Finance, Services, and enterprise stakeholders
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and data sharing standards across global markets
- Experience measuring AI adoption and product impact through clear success metrics
- Strong technical understanding of AI, data analytics, and how to connect capabilities to product strategy and value
