Job Summary
Defining and driving Mastercard's AI and data strategy at the enterprise level. Lead the translation of business priorities into AI and data initiatives, address capability gaps, governance, and operating models, and partner with Technology and People & Capabilities leaders to enable scalable, responsible adoption across a global organization. Role entails shaping strategy roadmaps, guiding evaluation and prioritization of AI/data solutions, building governance and data flow designs, and communicating success metrics. The ideal candidate will have executive-level communication skills, deep AI/data governance expertise, a strong fintech/payments background, and a track record of leading cross-functional programs in matrixed environments. This leadership position also includes representing Mastercard externally and collaborating with stakeholders across Technology, P&C, and enterprise teams to drive innovation and value realization.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience defining and executing enterprise-scale AI and data strategies in complex, matrixed organizations.
- Strong understanding of AI, data, analytics, and governance, with the ability to connect technical capabilities to business value.
- Deep understanding of the Payments and/or Fintech industry, especially the underlying technology stacks.
- Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders across business, product, and technology functions globally.
- Strong business and financial acumen, with experience assessing trade-offs, prioritizing investments, and supporting cost-efficiency objectives.]
