Job Summary
Lead the Radiation Oncology department as Vice Chair, overseeing clinical operations, program development, faculty recruitment and mentorship, research and academic productivity, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and cross-site collaboration across four sites (AMC and community settings). Drive strategic vision, growth initiatives, financial and budget planning, and system-wide innovations to enhance efficiency, standardization, and patient care. The role requires an MD or DO with board certification in Radiation Oncology, Massachusetts licensure eligibility, academic rank of Associate Professor or Professor (or eligible), and a demonstrated track record in clinical excellence, education, and/or research; prior leadership experience and experience managing teams in complex healthcare operations are essential. Relocation is available in support of the position.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree with board certification in Radiation Oncology
- Eligible for medical licensure in Massachusetts
- Academic rank of Associate Professor or Professor (or eligible)
- Demonstrated leadership experience (e.g., medical director, program director)
- Experience managing teams and complex healthcare operations
- Strong track record in clinical excellence, education, and/or research
- Experience in multi-site or network-based oncology programs (preferred)
