Job Summary
Lead the Cardiology Department across two campuses (Northern Westchester Hospital and Phelps Hospital) as Vice Chair, providing clinical leadership, overseeing hospital-based and ambulatory cardiology services, cardiac imaging (CCTA/CMRI), cardiac rehabilitation, advanced heart failure, interventional cardiology, and electrophysiology. Perform direct patient care, drive clinical program development and productivity of physician faculty, partner with administration to meet service-line and system goals, ensure high-quality clinical services, and collaborate within Northwell Cardiology. The role includes an academic appointment commensurate with experience at Zucker School of Medicine, with a strong emphasis on leadership, strategic program development, and跨-campus coordination.
Required Qualifications
- board-certified cardiologist
- directorship or chief experience
- academic appointment at Zucker School of Medicine at Northwell/Hofstra
- experience in inpatient and ambulatory cardiology
- experience with cardiac imaging (CCTA/CMRI)
- expertise in advanced heart failure, interventional cardiology, and electrophysiology
