Job Summary
Deliver high-quality clinical care in both inpatient and outpatient settings while participating in call rotations and leading multidisciplinary peer review processes. Implement strategies to reduce barriers to appropriate patient care, minimize non-invasive testing, and ensure seamless transitions between acute and ambulatory settings. Report to the Chair of the Heart & Vascular Institute, supervise APG cardiologists and advanced practice staff, and oversee hospital-based procedures. Collaborate with service line leaders to analyze referral barriers, review financial metrics, and develop strategies for underperforming practices. Advance the cardiology fellowship program, foster mentorship, and build infrastructure for clinical trials. Accountable for meeting documentation timelines, time-to-been goals, and customer satisfaction targets.
Required Qualifications
- A proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in delivering high-quality cardiovascular care
- Strong communication skills for engaging with leadership, staff, patients, and referring providers
- Financial acumen to manage budgets effectively while driving operational efficiency
