Job Summary
The VFX Production Manager will act as a liaison between the Client and Production Team to manage schedules and ensure on-time project delivery. Responsibilities include tracking project status, resolving issues, managing workflow, coaching direct reports, and motivating the production team. The role requires excellent organizational, communication, and management skills, with technical proficiency in production workflows, database management, and scheduling. Experience with MS Excel and task management software is advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience in film, television or animation as a Project Coordinator/Manager
- Must be extremely knowledgeable in database management, scheduling, and production workflow process
- Excellent client and crew management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Thorough understanding of live-action and CG based VFX workflows
- Capable of motivating and leading a large team
Desired Qualifications
- Proven experience with project management and/or supervisory experience
- Ability to train and coach production staff
- Experience with Shotgrid or proprietary task management software
