Job Summary
Ingest, conform, and manage color pipelines for VFX editorial cuts, ensuring artist work matches the client frame-for-frame. Process incoming client plates, check for technical errors, and organize assets on the server. Maintain up-to-date Hiero edits, apply OCIO/ACES transformations, and generate review QuickTimes and final delivery packages (QuickTimes, EXRs, DPX) per strict specs. Requires proficiency in Hiero, deep codec knowledge, and basic Python scripting.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in Hiero
- Deep understanding of codecs, frame rates, resolutions, and LUTs
- An obsessive nature regarding file naming conventions and folder structures
Desired Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of Python for renaming scripts or automation is a huge plus
- Experience with ShotGrid API integrations
