Job Summary
Helicopter Pilot for Med-Trans EG (VFR) providing medical air transport; work with a medical flight team to safely transport customers, ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatch, maintain regulatory documentation, and communicate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners. Requires rotorcraft FAA Commercial certificate, helicopter instrument rating, FAA Class II Medical, and substantial flight hours (hour requirements listed). Includes on-duty housing at many locations, 7/7 schedule, and geographic modifiers with starting salary range and sign-on/retention bonuses. Eligible candidates will participate in ongoing training and maintain required certifications as part of an emergency medical services flight operation.
Required Qualifications
- Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
- Helicopter instrument rating
- Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
- 2,000 Total Flight Hours
- 1,500 Helicopter Hours
- 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
- 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours
- 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided)
