Job Summary
Provide medical air transportation as part of a team of medical experts, ensuring aircraft readiness for flight dispatches, maintaining regulatory documentation, and communicating effectively with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners. Maintain required certifications and ongoing training to support VFR helicopter operations in emergency medical services, including adherence to FAR and Med-Trans requirements; participate in shift changes and team handoffs per Med-Trans change board procedures; support safety and reliability across multiple locations with on-duty housing and a 7/7 schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
- Helicopter instrument rating
- Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
- 2,000 Total Flight Hours
- 1,500 Helicopter Hours
- 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
- 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours
- 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided)
