Job Summary
Drive cost reduction initiatives focused on direct materials and product value optimization across the Airbag Division. Facilitate ideation and value engineering workshops to generate innovative savings opportunities, partnering with Purchasing, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Business Units to identify, evaluate, and implement cost-saving strategies. Build robust financial business cases to support project approvals and utilization ECAN and other business tools to develop and validate savings opportunities. Coordinate alignment among key stakeholders to successfully execute approved initiatives while tracking, reporting, and supporting achievement of VEVA and SmartBOM objectives. Present project recommendations, financial impacts, and implementation plans to leadership teams, supporting multiple projects simultaneously to ensure timely execution and delivery of results.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Manufacturing, or a related field
- Experience in cost reduction, value engineering, program management, purchasing, product engineering, manufacturing, or a related function
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects in a global environment
- Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to build compelling business cases
- Experience preparing and delivering presentations to management and leadership teams
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency Excel, Microsoft Project and PowerBI
