Job Summary
Vetting Analyst role within the Police Vetting Service at the Police National Headquarters in Wellington. Responsible for analyzing information to assess suitability for roles with safety and security considerations, maintaining confidentiality, and supporting consistent information sharing. Requires strong attention to detail, clear written and verbal communication, resilience when handling sensitive material, adaptability to changing priorities, and proficient use of digital systems. Multiple permanent full-time positions available. The role includes undergoing online psychometric testing as part of recruitment, drug & alcohol testing, and police vetting prior to offer. Start date scheduled for 7 September 2026; offers career progression within NZ Police and opportunities to join the NZ Police Association.
Required Qualifications
