Job Summary
Support veterinarians with patient care, exams, surgery, anesthesia, and recovery. Safely handle and restrain animals with compassion while performing technical duties such as lab work, radiographs, injections, and IV catheter placement. Communicate clearly with clients regarding care instructions and status updates, and maintain accurate medical records for medication dispensing. Keep exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment clean, stocked, and ready while following hospital, safety, and regulatory guidelines. Required Qualifications
- At least 2+ years of veterinary experience
- Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately
- Knowledgeable about common disease states and able to alert veterinarians to changes in patient conditions
- Familiarity with DEA, OSHA, and hospital safety guidelines
