Job Summary
Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and surgeries while safely handling and restraining animals. Prepare examination and surgical areas by cleaning and sterilizing equipment, perform basic laboratory tests including collecting blood, urine, and stool samples, and administer medications and vaccinations under supervision. Feed, bathe, and exercise animals as needed, maintain accurate medical records, and communicate with pet owners regarding care plans. Clean and maintain the clinic by stocking supplies and ensuring a safe, sanitary environment. Full-time or part-time schedule with hands-on training and mentorship available.
Required Qualifications
- Must have veterinary experience
- Technical know-how in areas such as disinfection, administering medication, and using diagnostic equipment
- Physical ability to handle animals safely and compassionately
