Job Summary
Support veterinarians with patient care, exams, surgery, anesthesia, and recovery. Safely handle and restrain animals while performing technical duties such as lab work, radiographs, injections, and IV catheter placement. Communicate clearly with clients regarding care instructions and status updates, and maintain accurate medical records. Assist with medication dispensing, keep exam rooms and equipment clean, and follow all hospital safety guidelines. Requires at least three years of experience with surgical expertise. Full-time or part-time roles available in Sparta, New Jersey, with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of veterinary experience
- Surgical experience
- Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately
- Knowledgeable about common disease states
