Veterinary Technician position at a 24-hour emergency veterinary hospital, responsible for patient triage, lab samples collection, diagnostic imaging, and surgical assistance, with opportunities for career development and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year professional experience preferred
- A high work ethic and positive attitude team member
- Ability to arrive on-time and ready to work
- Some weekend availability
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to interpret medical records and record client history accurately
- Knowledge in preventative care and surgical procedures
- Ability to restrain pets in a low-stress and safe manner
- Proficient in sample collection (blood, urine, fecal, skin)
- Ability to set-up and process laboratory samples and tests
- Proficient in positioning and capturing radiographs and dental radiographs
- Proficient in anesthesia and surgical monitoring
- A self-starter with the desire to continue to advance knowledge and skills
Desired Qualifications
- CVT preferred but not required
